Edges

The Edges tab shows every mispriced line on the board, ranked by how mispriced it is.

What is an edge?

An edge is a line where the sportsbook's odds are better than the true probability suggests. In betting terms, it's a +EV (positive expected value) situation — the payout beats the true odds.

When a book prices something wrong, you have an edge. Over many bets, edges compound into profit.

Reading the Edges screen

At the top:

• All Sports dropdown — Filter to a specific sport
• Search players — Find a specific player
• EV dropdown — Sort by expected value
• Filters — Additional filtering options

The count shows how many props are listed (e.g., "346 props").

Below the filters, you'll see an explanation:

"EV = how far the price sits above fair — fair being what the odds say without the sportsbook's cut."

Understanding each card

Each edge card shows:

• Player name and photo
• Prop description — e.g., "O 0.5 HRs · SD @ CIN"
• Odds — The current price with sportsbook logo
• EV — The expected value percentage (e.g., +7.0%)
• L5 — Hit rate over last 5 games
• L10 — Hit rate over last 10 games
• BEST — Best available odds across all books

Higher EV means a bigger edge. But remember: edge doesn't guarantee a win on any single bet. It means the math is in your favor over time.
